7 Questions to Ask your Inflatable Rental Vendor

If you haven’t rented a bounce house or water slide before, you may not know what questions are important to ask.  We have created a short list of questions to get you started.

  • Are you insured?

Inflatable vendors can purchase insurance and should be able to provide you with a copy of their insurance certificate on request.  This insurance generally insures the vendor in case someone is hurt or injured in the inflatable and seeks to recover medical bills, etc.  For more specific details, ask the vendor about the specific policy.

Easy Feta Dip for Parties

Football season has started!   Fall and football make me think of cookouts and game watching parties.  I am going to invite some of our friends and family, cook something on the grill, rent a bounce house for the kids, watch the game and reminisce about all the fun we had this summer.

When planning a menu for a party, one of the first things I do is decide on a few appetizers.  I think I start with appetizers because they are my favorite dishes to prepare, and eat!

Is your backyard ready for a bounce house?

Bounce houses are a great way to add fun to your event or backyard party.  But before you send out those invitations, take a few minutes to make sure that your backyard is compatible with a bounce house rental.

A simple, square bounce house typically ranges from 11 x 11 to 15 x 15.  However, that is just the main area.  Allow at least 3 feet of space between the edges of the bounce house and fences, trees, or other structures.  At the entrance, you will want at least 5  feet to make room for kids to take off their shoes before climbing in.  Also, pay attention to overhead trees or wires.  The bounce houses will be at least 10 feet tall, but some could be as much as 20 feet tall if they have castle towers or other decorations.  Confirm the size with your bounce house rental company to make sure that your backyard can accommodate the awesome bounce house you are planning to rent.

Backyard Party Checklist

Planning a Backyard Party?  Run through this check list to make sure your party is a great one!

1. Rain and Bad Weather

2. Hot Weather
